CARING FOR YOUR MAZDA

caring-cx-60-hero

You’ll fall in love with your CX-60’s stunning looks, but these looks can be compromised if not cared for. While the paintwork on your CX-60 represents the highest grade
of body protection, regular check-ups are also important to look after the exterior of your vehicle as best as you can. Proper interior care is also just as important to help maintain
your Mazda’s style.

Washing

WASHING

We recommend washing your CX-60 at least once a month.
Before washing remove any insects, bird droppings, tree sap or other marks using a soft cloth and clean, lukewarm water. After washing,
dry with a chamois or soft towel. Never use strong detergents,
abrasive cleaners or harsh brushes.

Cleaning your alloy wheels

CLEANING YOUR ALLOY WHEELS

To avoid damaging the protective coating on your alloy wheels, use mild soap or neutral detergent applied with a sponge or soft cloth. Harsh wheel cleaners can damage the wheel’s coating.

polishing

POLISHING

The best time to polish your CX-60 is straight after washing your car,
when water no longer beads on the paintwork. Use quality polish
on all paintwork and chrome trims, coating evenly with a soft cloth.
Polish every 12 months if your car is kept covered, or every 6 months
if it’s exposed to weather.

Note: If you’re going to use a spot remover, do so before polishing.

Look good on the inside too

LOOK GOOD ON THE INSIDE TOO

Looking after your car’s interior is crucial to help you maintain that new-car feeling. It’s also important for resale value. Vacuum the carpet regularly and keep the interior completely dry to maintain its appearance.
If your CX-60 has leather trim, clean it with a quality leather cleaner.

HOW TO USE M HYBRID BOOST

M Hybrid Boost automatically switches between engine assist by the motor and charging by regenerative braking according to the driving conditions of the vehicle. The M Hybrid Boost power generating status is shown on the system operation status display of the fuel economy monitor.

Note: Drive the vehicle for about 30 minutes once every 2 to 3 months as self-discharge occurs gradually if the vehicle is not driven for a long period of time. If the M Hybrid Boost Battery discharges completely, have your vehicle inspected by an expert repairer (we recommend an Authorised Mazda Repairer).
